Last day of Chinese New Year

It's time for Chines New Year to come to an end and wait for next Chinese New Year to come. Opppsss... I am a bit impatient.

元宵节快乐!! 中国情人节快乐!!

For tradition, for those that are single, to find your spouse, you can go throw mandarins (duh, direct translation 抛柑)。

I've never tried this before in my entire life. Where can I throw my mandarins in Canberra? Maybe Lake Burley Griffin... What do you think? I think the government's cleaners will follow what I wrote on the mandarins and find me... TO GIVE ME A FINE for disposing rubbish in public areas !! LOL

My friend, Mei Fern posted on facebook that she wants to throw DURIAN instead of mandarins because the size of durian is much bigger than madarin and it is easier to catch people's attention. I told her not to throw durian into the river but to send it to me, because I miss the aroma and texture of durian. Durian is the king of fruit and it definitely deserves the title.

One problem... how can you write your contact details on the surface of durian? If someone really pick up your durian, but he does not know who to call...  Mission Failed. =(

Back to me, I completely forgotten to buy mandarins yesterday when I went for groceries and I didn't see any mandarins on display. Can I use sunkist or navel oranges instead?? Nah... I didn't buy any oranges yesterday.

Let me check what I have in the fridge.

I have sugar plums. The size of 4 sugar plums is equivalent to 1 orange? Hell no... people won't be able to see my sugar plums floating on the water. HAHA. Well, sugar plums are expensive too... I better keep them for my tummy. Yummy...

Are tomatoes fruits? Don't you like the shinny surface of tomatoes... 红彤彤,好吉利!!
I think tomatoes are inappropriate too since they rot too easily in water. What if it rot before the right man saw my tomato? =)

How about White Peaches?? My favourite fruit at the moment. Should I spare them for something I am not confident about? As an actuarial and finance student, I know I am risk adverse, therefore, I would not 'invest' in something that provides low probability of return (find my guy). I'll put back my peaches in the fridge. Don't you ever think about them!!

Wait a second, I still have my rock melon. Rock melon seems to be the best substitute for mandarins. It's only $1.99 and the size of it is far bigger than mandarin. Don't you think it is better than durian too? Durian are too defensive!! So, this is what I do to my rock melon.

How cool is that? I am creative, am I?
Remember to call me for a date!! =)

I am having too much time to spare because I can't find a part time job. So, this is what happens when Priscilla have too much time and don't know what to do. Expands her thoughts to infinite space!!
