My new room

Meet my new room, D032. When I first got my room, I thought it was not too bad. So, I entered into D-block and try to figure out where is my room. When I nearly reach the other enterance, I found my room.

I am sorry to say I really don't like my new room. I should be the one to blame because I never submitted any room preference last year and luck is not on my side. Although it is on ground floor (I don't have to climb stairs), it is nearer to the laundry room, IT IS NEAR TO ONE OF THE MAIN ENTERANCE OF THE BLOCK. I meant my room is just opposite the enterance. For goodness sake, I have to bear with all the BANG BANG BANG again for my entire coming year!! People usually laugh out loud, but now I really need to CRY OUT LOUD!!

I almost got crazy last year because my room door was vibrating very very hard and I kept hearing "Bang" noises when someone got into the block. Last year, I was quite far from the door, at least some distance away. But this year.... COL!! Those vibrating and noises are most irritating when you are trying to study and focus on your work.

I assume at the moment, less than a quarter of residents are back but just now I was cleaning my room for just less than an hour, I could barely stand those noises. Imagine, what happens when uni starts and everyone is back in BnG.

Each floor have at least 32 rooms, with 4 floors in a block                      = 128 rooms (at least)
Each person use the enterance twice a day (in and out)                          = 256 BANGS

This is just my rough estimation. Of course, people don't just go in and out of their rooms and the building for once a day. Residents go to cook in the kitchen, do laundry in the laundry room, go for lessons and lab sessions... etc. I don't think I would have baby type of comfort sleep anymore and I might get exasperated very easily. So, if you ever encounter me and I did not smile to you, YOU KNOW WHY!!

Hopefully, I will have a better neighbour this year, because my other neighbours would be the main road behind BnG and BnG's carpark. God bless me and I'll head to unilodge to cry. Bye Bye!!
